We are pleased to invite the community to a Celebration of the Animas River on Sunday, November 1st from Noon – 2:00 PM at the La Plata County Fairgrounds. The event will provide information and an opportunity to ask questions of the community organizations working to support the river. Information provided will address the Gold King Mine spill, the health of the Animas River, and individual health-related topics. The event will also feature fun and informative activities and light refreshments will be provided.
