Do you know where to get healthy and affordable foods for your family?

We’ve worked with our community partners to compile a list of food-access resource for stocking up and eating healthy this summer. If you know of other resources in our community that we should include on this page, email sjbphcommunications@sjbpublichealth.org to submit new information.

Other Resources

  • Cortez Farmers Market: (Accepts Double Up!) Saturdays from 7:30 a.m. to noon, June 3rd – October 28th, Montezuma County Courthouse parking lot.
  • Smiley Market: Wednesdays year round from 2 to 5 p.m, Smiley Building. Summer hours are 3 to 6 p.m., on the corner of 13th and E 3rd. Eggs, assorted meats and vegetables, and seasonal fruit when available.
  • The Old Fort Produce Market: Wednesdays from 1 to 4 p.m., weekly between mid-July and mid-October, otherwise sporadic or biweekly, outside of the Student Union. Fresh sustainable produce and frozen local, grass-fed meats.
  • The Old Fort Country Store: Daily from dawn to dusk, mid-April to mid-October. Fresh sustainable produce and frozen local, grass-fed meats.
