SJBPH stands with you, from making sure everyone who wants a vaccine can get one, to sharing accurate information, and continuing to help everyone we serve reach their highest potential for health. The information below is intended to assist citizens in Durango, Pagosa Springs, and all of the towns and unincorporated areas of Southwest Colorado in staying healthy and safe during this pandemic.

The free, lifesaving COVID-19 vaccine is available to all Colorado residents 5 and older. People age 5-17 are only eligible for the Pfizer vaccine.

Expanded Booster Eligibility Update: On November 19th, the FDA and CDC authorized booster doses of Pfizer and Moderna for all adults ages 18 and up. Adults must be six months past completing their Pfizer or Moderna series or two months past receiving the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

The Governor signed an Executive Order on November 10th declaring the entire State of Colorado a high risk setting making every Coloradan who is 18 years of age and older and six months past their second dose of the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine, or two months past their Johnson & Johnson vaccine, eligible for a COVID-19 booster.
