Job Description

San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a part-time Dental Hygienist for our Regional Oral Health Program.  Duties include scheduling and providing screenings to area schools.  Providing client referrals to other community programs as needed.  Plans and implements assigned oral healthcare and disease prevention programs and provides training and resource services to healthcare providers.  Participates in the assessment of community oral health needs.  Assists with program services outreach activities and required interventions.  Facilitates Oral Health Coalitions in Montezuma and La Plata counties.  Maintains program files and data.  The qualifications for this position are an Associate degree in dental hygiene and one year related dental hygiene experience or and equivalent combination of education and job experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation. State of Colorado Dental Hygiene certification.  This position is scheduled to close 10/14/2019, or until an adequate pool is reached. Dental Hygienist

Job Description

San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse with experience providing health care services via tele-medicine.  This position will specifically help develop systems and coordinate clinics with medical providers in the San Juan Basin catchment area with the goal of providing tele-medicine for the pediatric population with special health care needs.  The qualifications for this position are licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Colorado and one year nursing experience, preferably with pediatrics, and experience with tele-health.  This position is scheduled to close 9/6/2019, or until an adequate pool is reached. The hiring range for this position is $24.51 to $36.77.   New hires are typically made at or near the minimum of the hiring range; the full wage range is included on the job description.

PRN Registered Nurse

Job Description

San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a part-time (26 hrs/wk) Clinic Outreach Coordinator.  This staff will assist in increasing breast, cervical, and colorectal cancer screening rates among Colorado women by conducting targeted outreach, organizing and participating in community events, providing education, and working directly with clients on barrier reduction.  This position is scheduled to close 9/16/19, or until an adequate pool is reached. The hiring range for this position is $16.36 to $23.72.   New hires are typically made at or near the minimum of the hiring range; the full wage range is included on the job description.

Clinic Outreach Coordinator

Job Description

San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a Director of Clinical and Emergency Preparedness Services. This position oversees clinical services (focusing on sexual health), Communicable Disease and emergency preparedness and response (EPR) activities at SJBPH. The Director serves as the subject matter expert regarding programs of the Division, seeks resources to support assigned programs, and coordinates with external agencies. Successful applicants will demonstrate experience managing staff and budgets as well as exceptional critical thinking skills. Knowledge of healthcare clinic management, Epidemiology and EPR principles are essential.  The Qualifications for this position are a bachelor’s degree in a related field, clinical licensure, and seven years of experience related to area of assignment including two years of supervisory experience is required.  This position is scheduled to close 9/13/19, or until an adequate pool is reached.
