San Juan Basin Public Health is hiring a Water Quality Laboratory Supervisor to oversee a laboratory offering compliance and private-party testing of drinking water and wastewater. The position, as assigned, will supervise laboratory staff, act as a technical resource for staff within and outside of the laboratory, perform biological and physical analyses of water and wastewater samples, record and report data, maintain inventory, equipment and information technology, perform billing services and monitor finances, and provide information to the public and regulatory authorities. Water Quality Laboratory Supervisor

San Juan Basin Public Health (SJBPH) is hiring a full or part time Dental Hygienist. This position oversees the SJBPH Oral Health Project, which includes coordinating school-based and telehealth-based oral health services in the SJBPH catchment area, performing and documenting school-based oral health screenings and preventive dental services, providing age-appropriate dental education to students, and referring for follow up services, as needed. The incumbent participates in community outreach events, dental navigation to support community members in securing a dental home and facilitates a local coalition for oral health care providers to identify and respond to gaps in access to high quality, affordable oral health care services.  An associate degree in dental hygiene and one year of related dental hygiene experience is required.  Applicants must also have State of Colorado Dental Hygiene and CPR certifications.  Benefits for exempt employees and non-exempt employees, 80% or more, are Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Account, Employee Assistance Program, Wellness Program, Paid Time Off, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance and Supplemental Insurance. The Administrative Support Assistant responsibilities include delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring proper cash handling, distributing mail, answering phones, scheduling appointments, reviewing client billing, and completing end of day reports. This position also entails processing client’s and local mortuaries’ requests for Vital Statistics. We seek someone with exceptional organizational skills, ability to multitask with efficiency, and strong familiarity with data entry and computer skills.   Bilingual is a plus. Administrative Support Assistant

San Juan Basin Public is hiring a part-time Facilities Technician.  This position will perform basic building maintenance work such as installing light bulbs, furniture set-up and repair, room arrangement, basic plumbing, painting, snow/ice removal and general grounds maintenance. The incumbent will complete basic fleet vehicle maintenance and oversight, including scheduling and transporting vehicles for regular service, and perform basic custodial activities. The position will contract and monitor the work of maintenance services and review invoices for payment. With the right qualifications and experience, the candidate may be considered for a full-time position.  Part-time position includes a flexible schedule.  Basic knowledge of office phone systems and standard business suite software required.
